سرور اچ پی HP ProLiant BL460c Gen8 پرفروش ترین سرور تیغه جهان می باشد. این سرور اچ پی محبوب ترین سرور مورد استفاده در دیتا سنترها محسوب میشود. سروری بسیار قدرتمند با استفاده از دو پروسسور سری 2600 که ماکسیمم دارای 12 هسته و 30 مگابایت حافظه نهان می باشد. این سرور قابلیت سرویس دهی بعنوان دیتابیس سرور در حد تجاری را دارا بوده و همچنین بهترین انتخاب برای استفاده در کلاستر جهت طراحی دیتا سنترهایی با اطلاعات انبوه می باشد. این سرور اچ پی به تنهایی قادر به سرویس دهی بعنوان دیتابیس سرور و برای دیتابیس های نیمه حجیم نیز می باشد. عمده استفاده این سرور بطور معمول در دیتا سنترهای طراحی شده براساس تکنولوژی رایانش ابری در محیط یک کلاستر و معمولا با تلفیق سرور 420 Gen8 بعنوان سرور مدیریتی سیستم استفاده می گردد. این سرور قابلیت پذیرایی از 2 پروسسور سری 2600، دو هارد دیسک و یا دیسک جامد(SSD) و 512 گیگابایت رم بوده و شامل یک کارت فلکس فابریک 10 گیگابیتی 2 پورتی میباشد و پروسسورهای آن بصورت 10،8،6،4 و 12 هسته ای در دسترس است. این سرور قابلیت انتقال به سن استورج های تیغه ای پیشرفته با پروتکل های ISCSi نیز می باشند.
